How it works
Save
Open Settings, then Quick commands, and add a command: the name you will say and the text to insert. Up to 30 commands.
Call
In any text field, double-tap your dictation key (by default the right Ctrl) quickly. A small menu appears by the cursor.
Insert
Say the command's name and let go, or click it in the menu. The text is inserted exactly as you saved it.
What to know
- Commands are stored on this computer only and are not sent anywhere.
- The text is inserted exactly as you wrote it, without dictation corrections.
- Press Esc to close the menu.
Questions
What can I save?
Anything you type often: your signature, address, bank details, a power-of-attorney template, a standard answer for clients.
What if the command is not found?
The menu shows “Not found. Say it again.” Say the name clearly, or pick the command with the mouse.
Is there a limit?
Up to 30 commands. Each one can hold a long text of several lines.
